Mitch Daniels Early Graduation Scholarship

This Scholarship was designed for high school juniors on track to graduate early.  It offers a one-time award of $4,000 and is available to students who graduate from a publicly supported high school at least one year ahead of schedule.  The funds can be applied toward tuition and fees, with any remaining amount being disbursed to the student.  It is important to note that the scholarship cannot be used for remedial coursework.

Description: It's in the spirit of "passing on the blessings" that Custom Exteriors established The Custom Exteriors Scholarship Endowment Fund. The scholarship honors characteristics Custom Exteriors highly values.  It was established by Matt Jouppi & Allison Livesay to be awarded to students who demonstrate, "One who is faithful with a little will be faithful with much.

Qualifications:  Applicants must:  1) be graduating students from an Indiana high school or home school; 2) plan to pursue a post-secondary education credential in a trade and technical profession, an associate degree, or bachelor's degree; and 3) have a seventh-semester minimum grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale. 

Selection Criteria: 1)_ While the scholarship is available to all qualified applicants, preference may be given to active and past employees or children or grandchildren of employees of Custom Exteriors, Inc. 2) Recipients will be chosen based on their ability to demonstrate community involvement and /or involvement with their church; 3) Recipients should show a demonstration of good stewardship of time and other resources they've been given in their high school career.

Materials Required: 1) A paragraph describing community involvement and/or involvement with their church.  2) A essay on how they have been a good steward with what they've been given during their high school career (This could be time, talent, opportunities, people....etc)

Description: Bob Wortman strongly believes that individuals who possess vision are essential to the survival of small towns across America and created the Fountaintown Gas Co., Inc. Scholarship to provide benefit to students, served by the gas company, who strive to attain a certification or degree at a post-secondary institution.  Bob and his family consider this scholarship an investment in the community's future.

Qualifications:  Applicants must: 1) be graduating students of an accredited public, private or parochial high school; 2) live within the primary service area of Fountatintown Gas Co., Inc.  and have a parent or grandparent who has been a customer of Fountaintown Gas Co., Inc. for a minimum of 36 consecutive months; 3) have a seventh semester grade point average between 2.5 and 3.5 on a 4.0 scale; 4) plan to pursue a post-secondary education credential

Selection Criteria: Selection will be based on three factors: 1) the motivation to create a successful position in life and use unique talents to define future endeavors; 2) the ability to balance diverse activities such as community involvement, academic pursuits, extracurricular activities, and /or employment; 3) financial need. Description: A Greenfield graduate, Matt English excelled as a basketball player and coach.  He was best known for his "We Before Me" mantra, which resonated in his life as a coach, teacher, mentor, husband, father, son, colleague and friend.  Matt's loved ones honor his WeB4Me motto through the recognition of a graduating student who exemplifies the life lessons that he taught and exhibited to hundreds of people until his  passing in 2018: Always do for others; always be there for someone, never walk away from being a part of something great. 

Qualifications: Applicants must 1) be graduating students from public high schools based in the state of Indiana; 2) plan to pursue a postsecondary education credential including trade and technical certifications, associate and/or bachelor's degrees; 3) while there is no GPA minimum, applicant GPA will be reviewed in conjunction with stated educational attainment goals.

Selection Criteria: 1) Selfless execution of service that left a situation or a place better than it was before said service; 2) Remaining positive in the face of adversity and facing each day with tenacity, regardless of the circumstances; and 3) Leveraging the unfortunate circumstances of  others to identify ways to provide positive benefit.

Supporting Materials Required: 1) 500-word essay describing how one's service demonstrates one or more of the following: a. Selfless execution of goals to better a team, group, or community; b. Placing community before self; c. Leaving a "mark", when faced with personal adversity for the ultimate benefit of others; e. Description: Richard, a successful business owner in the local community, and Judith, a Registered Nurse, both supported those who be3lieved in furthering their own career and making a better life for themselves.  In honor of the many contributions to their community and professions, their children Keith White and Stephanie White-Longworth established a scholarship fund to provide educational support to Hancock County and Henry County students.

Qualifications: Applicants must: 1) be current residents of Hancock or Henry counties, Indiana; 2) have a minimum grade point average of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale at a current or most recent educational institution; and 3) be in pursuit of or plan to pursue a post-secondary education credential.

Selection Criteria: Preference may be given to: 1) a current or former employee, including family members, of JAS Trucking, Gas America, Lucky Liquors, K&S Holdings, Valor Field Services, Leo's, Pride Investment Partners or MKS Lodging or be a former volunteer or employee of Gas America Charitable Foundation; 2) those who reside in Charlottesville, Shirley, Wilkinson or Willow Branch, Indiana, Financial need may be considered

NineStar is providing 15-$2000 scholarships to help support students in their pursuit of higher education whether it be attending a university or trade school.

Scholarship Criteria:

• The graduating senior must live in a NineStar-customer household

This application allows you to apply for funded Henry County Hospital Foundation Scholarships listed on the attached sheet.  By completing this one application form you are applying for money from any or all of the funds available.  The scholarships are available to Henry County residents and students interested in pursuing health careers.  Awards of $500 are not repayable; scholarships received while in clinical studies do require a commitment to work for the hospital.  You must submit all required parts of the application to be considered by the scholarship committee. The parts are as follows:

• 1. A completed copy of the scholarship application (3 pages)
• 2. Obtain a copy of your high school transcript of credits with SAT scores.  Please include college grades if applicable.
• 3.  Include a copy of the letter(s) of acceptance from the school(s) of choice and date(s) of entry

TRI KAPPA 2025 SCHOLARSHIP GUIDELINES

The Knightstown Alpha Zeta Chapter of Tri Kappa will award scholarships to members of the Knightstown Community Senior High School graduating class

of  2025. These scholarships can be applied to any institute of higher learning, whether in-state or not, academic or vocational.

Scholarship applications can be obtained through the guidance office or on the high school’s website. The application process is open to both males and females.

Please be advised that the following information is required in addition to the two-page application form:

          1. Transcripts for the first seven semesters of attendance.

          2.  Information on leadership roles and awards, elected offices, and number            of hours per community service projects.

          3.  Work experience list which should include a detailed work history stating           employer, length of employment and hours worked.

          4.  A 200-300 word typed, double-spaced essay by the applicant including a               career objective, reason for attending the chosen school, and short and                       long-term goals.

5.  Two original letters of recommendation, signed, written by non-family                members.  A community member, supervisor/employer, or school staff member would be preferred.    

6.  Include any information on other siblings attending college, which                    institutions have accepted you, how much money is currently saved for          college, and, if you choose, a brief explanation of any extenuating                      financial circumstances.

To Provide financial assistance to person(s) with a Bank relationship who has been accepted to, or is enrolled in, an accredited institution, college, university, or school in the State of Indiana.

Scholarship Award Information

• The Citizens State Bank Community Scholarship, a one-time non-renewable $5,000 scholarship 
• Awarded to one eligible recipient each year and paid directly to the Bursar's office
• The scholarship selection committee, determined by Citizens State Bank, will review applications received on or before March 31 of the current year
• In the event the chosen recipient receives a full scholarship from another source, cannot accept the award, or will not be attending school, the next qualified recipient in order of merit will receive the award.
• The Committee will also resolve any questions or interpretations of the qualifications o factors in determining the recipient that may occur.
• The winner will be publicly announced no later than May 15.
• All information will be kept confidential and reviewed only by the Committee.

The requirements for the scholarship are:
